Change Default language in Hotmail

Outlook.com is a mobile app for Microsoft's personal information manager consisting of webmail, calendar, contacts, and task services. Created in 1996 by Sabeer Bhatia and Jack Smith, Hotmail was purchased for an estimated $400 million by Microsoft in 1997 and relaunched as MSN Hotmail, later rebranded as part of the Windows Live suite of products as Windows Live Hotmail. Changing the current Microsoft Windows language changes the Outlook Mail language, since Hotmail Mail uses the browser language by default, which in turn defaults to the language of the operating system. Sign in to your Outlook.com account, click Settings (the wheel icon), enter the search language, and then click Language and Area.

Tap the arrow below and choose your language. I chose Deutsch (German) as my example and pressed Save.

In order for the changes to take effect, you will need to refresh your browser. All has been flipped into my chosen language, as you can see in my example.
